Hard Magnetic Materials: Development, Recycling and Applications

Hard magnetic materials, or permanent magnets, are essential for
generating stable, self-sustaining magnetic fields without external
power, making them critical for energy efficiency, electric mobility,
and modern electronics. They feature high coercivity and remanence,
powering vital technologies like electric motors, MRI machines, wind
turbines, and data storage devices, facilitating high-performance
industrial and consumer applications.
Therefore, the development of new hard magnetic materials as well as the
recycling technologies allowing the critical raw materials saving are
essentially relevant.
This special workshop will focus on the last developments, latest
research findings, ideas on development of new hard magnetic materials as well as the recycling
technologies, on basic phenomena and fundamental aspects of hard magnetic materials
suitable for manufacturing of electric motors, MRI machines, wind
turbines, and data storage devices, facilitating high-performance
industrial and consumer applications.
Authors are invited to submit the abstract and optionally complete
unpublished papers, which are not under review in any other conference
or journal in the following, but not limited to:
• New manufacturing and recycling techniques for hard magnetic
materials.
• Novel hard magnetic materials and new applications
• Advanced processing of hard magnetic materials
• Fundamentals and physics involving basic effects, theory, modeling of hard magnetic materials
• Magnetic measurements & instrumentation, measurement standards,
• Smart materials and composites for wireless and non-destructive
control including tuneable metamaterials
• Development of new applications and devices including electric motors,
MRI machines, wind turbines, data storage devices, among others
applications
